Francesca was born and raised in Edmonton, Alberta where she completed her Bachelor of Commerce in 2009. From there she moved to Slave Lake, and has lived in the region ever since. She obtained her CGA designation in 2011, and after several years in public practice she formed Nash Giroux, LLP with her business partner Bonnie Nash. Her focus lies within providing accounting needs for private enterprises from incorporation through to financial statement preparation and all the events that lie in between.
In her spare time Francesca is competitive in the Super Street class as a member of the National Hot Rod Association in her 1985 Camaro, she is both a National Event Winner and Division 6 Champion. She enjoys crafting and making florals with her hobby business, and spending time with her daughter.
Francesca is passionate about sustainable economic growth for our region with a focus on quality of life for our residents. As a true supporter of #livelocal she also believes in giving back to the community through volunteerism and community engagement.
Outside of current role as councillor she is a board member of the Slave Lake Gymnastic Association as well as former President of the Slave Lake and District Chamber of Commerce.
