Built initially in the 1970’s, it was redesigned and rebuilt in 2012. The MRC is home to many community groups including minor hockey, minor soccer, figure skating, rec hockey and more.
The field house offers a variety of sports and activities including basketball, pickleball, volleyball, soccer and more.
Please note the stand heaters in Arena 1 at the Multi-Rec Centre are out of service until further notice. We are working on getting this fixed but would like to remind patrons to dress warmly if spectating in this arena.
Roof repairs continue at the Multi-Rec Centre.
The fieldhouse air handling is functional again. Please note, areas of the track are still blocked off to accommodate construction. Work continues in other parts of the building. Guests may notice that it is colder/warmer in certain areas of the building due to air handling systems being removed to repair the roof.
