Tyler Warman moved to the Slave Lake Region in 1992. He considers the Slave Lake Region home, having grown up here, started his businesses, married and raised his family.
Volunteering has always been a big part of Tyler’s life having served the community as President of the Rotary Club and many years as a Rotarian, a volunteer firefighter, served on the Chamber of Commerce, coached minor sports teams, and has helped out with many events.
He enjoys sports, the outdoors, camping, hunting, fishing, travelling, scuba-diving or the joy of carving some deep powder on his skidoo. Although Tyler displays a strong motivation for making his community better, he says his true motivation and love for life comes from being a father and a husband.
Tyler’s passion is on building a healthy community. He believes in a community that is constantly growing, adapting and progressing forward. A healthy community needs a balance of supporting business as well as supporting people, while maintain a beautiful environmental landscape that makes the Region so great to live in.
Tyler was first elected as a councillor in 2010. He was elected Mayor in 2013
