Slave Lake, Alta. - The Slave Lake RCMP is seeking the public’s assistance to identify the owner of a motor vehicle involved in an attempted theft in Slave Lake. On March 9th, between the hours of 11:00pm and 11:50pm, an older model Pontiac was seen entering the Water Treatment Plant in the northwest quadrant of town. A suspect wearing a black parka, exited the vehicle and proceeded to the rear of the building. The suspect then attempted to remove the locked coin box but was unsuccessful. The vehicle is described as:
- Older model Pontiac
- White in colour
- Black bumpers
- Black steel rims
The Slave Lake RCMP continues to investigate this matter including identifying the individual(s).
