[ARCHIVED] Stage North Presents Ancient Carols for a Winter's Night at the Legacy Centre

Lizzy Hoyt - December 1st

Sunday, December 1, 2019

With the voice of an angel, Lizzy Hoyt delivers a magical evening of ancient carols to celebrate Christmas! Lizzy spent time exploring this rich repertoire of music and discovered some less-known carols. She mixed them with her favourites, arranged them for her trio of Celtic instruments and is now bringing them on the road to share with others! During this show, audiences will hear well-known carols, hidden gems and will enjoy a warm and festive atmosphere. As usual, Lizzy’s performances feature a mix of songs and instrumental numbers that include lively fiddle tunes, haunting Celtic harp medleys, as well as clogging! Lizzy’s voice will bring light and warmth to the darkest and coldest of December nights.
