[ARCHIVED] Assessment Request for Information letters

Assessment Request Letters

On September 30th  the Town of Slave Lake, on behalf of KCL Consulting, mailed out Assessment Request for Information letters.

Our assessors, KCL Consulting Inc., will begin physically inspecting properties in September to note any additions, deletions, and/or renovations that could have an effect on your assessed property value.

Not all properties owners will be receiving this letter. This year KCL Consulting will be reviewing properties in the south east quadrant of town, selected  residential and non-residential properties will receive a letter with a link for an online survey.

This is a normal process, which is a legal requirement under the Municipal Government Act to ensure accurate assessed values for property tax purposes.

Residents who receive the Assessment Request for Information letter are encouraged to work with KCL Consulting Inc. to ensure accurate information is gathered.

During the assessment inspection, KCL Consulting Inc. will be onsite to gather updated photos and note any physical changes.

If you have any question about this process please inquire with KCL Consulting via the online Assessment Inquiry Form.
