Special Events Permit and Guidelines

Are you looking to host a concerts, festivals, celebrations, contests, tournaments, games, marathons, gatherings, sales and markets on public lands? Be sure to apply for a special event permit at no cost, or a occupying space permit.

Commercial Use Events will require an Occupying Space / Change in Use Development Permit and not a Special Event Permit.

To ensure your event is approved by the Town of Slave Lake, please submit your Special Event Application  at least fourteen (14) business days prior to your event, or preferably four (4) weeks in advance. This timeline will allow our staff to review and refer your application to other approving authorities.
