Notice of Construction

This notice is to inform you that PCL (General Contractor) will be working at or near the lake front located north of the raw water pump station which is currently under construction. The work, which involves installation of two intake waterline located approximately 580m from the pump station will impact boater traffic in the area.

Construction Start - In lake construction is tentatively scheduled to commence on the week of May 28th, 2018.Duration - Construction in lake is expected to last up to 4 weeks (weather dependent) and is expected to be completed by June 25th, 2018.In Lake Traffic Delays - During in lake work public boat users will be restricted from boating within the construction zone or in proximity to the floating buoys situated along the pipe alignment.

Vehicle Traffic - There will be no road closure but be aware and use extra caution when driving on the gravel road leading towards the natural boat launch as there will be construction equipment actively using the road during the construction period.

Temporary Pier - A temporary pier will be constructed west of the access road along the lake shore for contractor to access the barge and boat in lake. This is not meant for public use and should be avoided.

Noise - You may experience some increased noise levels as a result of construction. However, work will be scheduled in accordance with the local noise by-laws.

Day Work - Day work will be required around the area in lake. You will be notified in advance of any changes to the working hours.
