[ARCHIVED] Biosolids Haul Set to Begin

Biosolids Haul

Starting November 23rd, Hauling Trucks will be transporting Biosolids from the Sewage Lagoon, in Slave Lake, to the MD of Lesser Slave River Landfill.

Above normal presence of Trucks will be trucking along Highway 2 and Highway 88 between these two facilities starting November 23rd.

Two Trucks are going to start hauling tomorrow (Thursday November 23rd) during the normal landfill hours of 12:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M.

Trucks will  haul on Thursday November 23rd, Friday November 24th and Saturday November 25th this week with 2 trucks during the normal landfill hours of 12:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M.on Thursday and Friday, then on Saturday during the hours of  9:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M.

Starting Monday, November 27 we are anticipating more trucks, up to 6, with the first load arriving at the Landfill at 8:00 A.M and the last load at 5:30 P.M.

Trucks are expected to haul every day for the week of November 27th to December 1st

Hauling is expected to last up to 6 weeks.

While we anticipate everything to move accordingly, please note that this schedule is weather dependant and may have to be adjusted due to adverse weather conditions.
