PUBLIC HEARING
November 15, 2022 @ 7:00 P.M.
IN COUNCIL CHAMBERS
Town Council is giving consideration to amending Land Use Bylaw #22-2007.
The amending bylaw proposes amendments to Section 53 D Projecting Signs by removing subsection (8) which reads as follows:
If there is a projecting sign at a business – no other fascia, awning or canopy sign will be permitted.
If Amending Bylaw #14-2022 is approved by Council, it would remove subsection (8) entirely
thereby no longer limiting the ability to have a fascia, projecting, and awning and canopy sign together on the same business frontage.
If you or any group of citizens support or are opposed to the proposed amendment, please deliver a letter to the Town Office no later than Thursday, November 10, 2022, or verbally make a presentation at the Public Hearing on Tuesday, November 15, 2022.
For more details, copies of Bylaw #22-2007 and proposed amending Bylaw #14-2022 are available for inspection at the Town office. For further information contact Laurie Skrynyk at 849-8019.
