Slave Lake RCMP Investigate a Mischief

Slave Lake RCMP News Release - Winter

Slave Lake, Alta – The Slave Lake RCMP is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a male who allegedly damaged property at a business in town.

On Jan. 25, 2022, at 1:44 p.m., the Slave Lake RCMP responded to a call of a customer at a local liquor store who disturbed the peace by verbally assaulting an employee when he was asked for identification to purchase the liquor.

The customer attempted to use his debit card as identification which was denied by the employee. The customer then attempted to leave without purchasing the liquor. When the employee said they would be calling the police, the customer smashed the 15 pack of beer he was attempting to purchase.

The male is described as:

  • medium complexion
  • heavy build
  • brown short hair
  • brown eyes
  • blue jeans
  • white/grey hoodie

 

The Slave Lake RCMP continues to investigate this matter.
