[ARCHIVED] Slave Lake RCMP investigate break and enter and charge two subjects

Slave Lake RCMP News Release - Winter

On Jan. 1, 2022, at 11:35 p.m., the Slave Lake RCMP responded to a call of a break and enter in progress at a business in the northwest quadrant of town. Several witnesses reported that a male and female were inside the business and the front windows were broken.

The Slave Lake RCMP attended the scene and were advised that a male and female ran on foot heading southwest. The Slave Lake RCMP patrolled the area and located a male and female hiding on private property and were arrested. 

Lucas Jeremy Laboucan (24) of Slave Lake and Taylor Houle (21) of Loon Lake, Alta., are charged with Break and Enter. 

Following a judicial hearing, both subjects were released to attend Slave Lake Provincial Court on Feb. 2, 2022 and Jan. 19, 2022 respectively. 

The Slave Lake RCMP continues to investigate this matter.
