Improvements have been steadily made to the pool over the past few months.
Change rooms on both sides are currently 90% complete and work continues on them.
Contractors have finished the main coatings within the basin. As well as new lines have been painted as you can see from the attached pictures below. Once everything is properly dried and the all clear is received, then water can begin to be filled in. Balancing the water and having samples approved by AHS will be required, with an estimate of the pool being fully cleared for use by mid-May.
Staff have been recalled for training. Until the pool is filled, they have been performing "dry land" exercises and will begin in-water exercises once the pool has been cleared for use.
There is a tentative opening date of June 14th, although this is subject to change and will be relaunched within the current COVID-19 restrictions at the given time.
