The Lesser Slave Regional Fire Service had the opportunity to travel to British Columbia last month to share their expertise in a firefighting education session. The firefighters from Slave Lake were able to teach the Hudson’s Hope and Moberly Lake departments on the use of a Wildland Structural Protection Unit, a mobile sprinkler system used to douse flames.
The instructors from our region were commended on the excellent instruction and lessons that they provided, while also showcasing the capabilities of the Lesser Slave Regional Fire Department.
