Slave Lake RCMP Investigate an Arson

Slave Lake, Alta. -  The Slave Lake RCMP is seeking the public's assistance in obtaining any information regarding an arson investigation at Nacho Park.  On April 24th, 2021 at approximately 10:20 PM, the RCMP received a call advising there was a fire at the Park.

Members of the Slave Lake Fire Department attended the scene and put out the fire while Members of the RCMP conducted neighbourhood inquiries and scene security. The Slave Lake Fire Department is still conducting their own tests.

A suspect was identified and questioned by the RCMP and they are no longer under investigation.

The Slave Lake RCMP continues to investigate this matter including identifying the individual(s).  Anyone with information to assist with the investigation, please contact the Slave Lake RCMP at 780-849-3999 or your local police detachment.  If you see something suspicious, report it to your local police.
