[ARCHIVED] Banff Film Festival 2020 Sponsored by West Fraser

Banff Film Festival 2020

Presenting Partners: Rab, and Banff & Lake Louise Tourism.

Locally presented by: West Fraser

Banff Centre Mountain Film and Book Festival is the largest, and one of the most prestigious, mountain festivals in the world. Hot on the heels of the festival held every fall in Banff, the Banff Centre Mountain Film Festival World Tour hits the road.

With stops planned in about 550 communities and more than 40 countries across the globe, this year’s tour features a collection of the most inspiring action, environmental, and adventure films from the festival.

Traveling to exotic landscapes and remote cultures, and bringing audiences up-close and personal with adrenaline-packed action sports, the 2019/2020 World Tour is an exhilarating and provocative exploration of the mountain world.

From approximately 400 films entered into the annual festival, award-winning films and audience favorites are among the films chosen to travel the globe.

Join us at the Legacy Centre when Banff Centre Mountain Film Festival World Tour brings the spirit of outdoor adventure to Slave Lake.

More information on the films will be available as they are selected. In the meantime, checkout the trailer here.

Please note that some films may not be suitable for all audiences and viewer discretion is advised. All films are rated "G" or "PG". Those with "PG" ratings may have course language.

Light snacks & refreshments will be available during this event.

This will be a physically distanced event held with consideration to all COVID-19 guidelines issued by the Alberta Government and in effect at the time of the event. There will be no tickets available at the door and no bar service for this event.
