[ARCHIVED] Slave Lake RCMP Investigate an Aggravated Assault

Slave Lake, Alta. -  On July 18th, 2020 at 7:56am, the RCMP responded to a report of a male that was stabbed. Members of the Slave Lake detachment attended the scene and located a male in his 20’s with a stab wound in his ribs and two other victims’ that were attacked with bear spray. The stabbing victim received serious but non-life threatening injuries.

Members conducted an investigation and a suspect’s name was provided to the RCMP. All victims were taken to the Slave Lake Hospital for medical treatment.  

The Slave Lake RCMP is seeking the public’s assistance in locating James Beaver. James Beaver is wanted for aggravated assault, assault causing bodily harm, uttering threats, and failing to comply with a release order. James is described as:

- Caucasian

- 5’2 in height, 105 lbs

- Face tattoo below his right eye of two tear drops

- Face tattoo under his left eye of a cross

- Face tattoo of “F.T.L” above his left eyebrow

- Usually wears all red, with a red bandana
