SLAVE LAKE, AB – The Town of Slave Lake is looking forward to the first, of many, successful Downtown Block Parties put on by the Chamber of Commerce on July 7th.

To ensure the safety of residents during the block party, the Town will be barricading Main Street and parts of 4th Ave. N.W., 3rd Ave. N.W. and  3rd Ave. N.E. starting at 6:00 A.M on July 7th. (See attached Map)

Businesses will be open during this time, and Vendors will be setting up for the block party which happens immediately after the parade.

This year’s parade will take place on July 7th, starting at 6:30 P.M.

Administration encourages residents to visit the downtown core during the Riverboat Daze Parade Block Party.

Residents are also encouraged to park at the following location on July 7th; Along 4th Ave. N.W., the Royal Bank Parking Lot, along 2nd Ave. N.W., the Public Parking Lot behind Allarie Cleaners on 2nd Street N.E., the Town of Slave Lake Government Building Parking Stalls, or leave your vehicle behind and take a walk down to the block party.
