Search & Rescue

The Slave Lake Firefighters Society is a member of Search and Rescue (SAR) Alberta, and responds to search and rescue call outs as requested by the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP).

The Search and Rescue team is comprised of fire department members and a number of interested volunteers. The group meets regularly to train for various land, water or air search and rescue scenarios.
