Project Scope

The project includes improvement of ammonia ventilation from MRC ice plant in the event of leak and to safeguard the facility users and employees from such events. We completed assessment recently and currently working on the implementation of the recommendations that were provided. The recommendation includes tieings of exhaust system with intake system which will auto close the fresh air intake in event of leak keeping the plume of ammonia gas out of our facility. The other recommendation is to extend the height of exhaust outlet further higher to allow the escape of gas quicker in the atmosphere.
