The Slave Lake Public Library provides and promotes library materials and services that meet the educational, informational, cultural and recreational needs of the residents of the Town of Slave Lake and the surrounding residents from the Municipal District of Lesser Slave River.

Twelve public computers are available to the public to meet their requests for online information and access, including one for the visually impaired and two online catalogues to access the books and other materials available through inter-library loans.
