The Town of Slave Lake operates an aerated wastewater treatment system that includes a drying cell that has been used for biosolids retention and dewatering. The scope of this project is to excavate, load, and haul the dried material to the landfill for disposal to enable reuse of this area. The estimated in-place volume of biosolids drying cell is 20,000 m3.
