Shawn was born in Edmonton and moved to Slave Lake when he was 5. A 32 year old father of two (Breeley 5 & Madison 3) Shawn is current the manager of an oilfield company and in this role, Shawn coordinates a team providing them with safe and knowledgeable leadership while working within a budget and keeping up with productivity and industry changes.

A big believer in charity and community spirit Shawn and his wife (Lacey) created the Ice Breaker Hockey Game. The event serves to honor their late nephew Landon and raise funds for the community via The Landon Persson Memorial Fund.

With the experience gained in both his career and charitable endeavours Shawn looks to bring this wisdom along with new ideas to council. Gramlich is no stranger to working for the community and is honoured to serve the residents and businesses of Slave Lake on Town Council.
