Slave Lake RCMP investigate an oilfield theft

RCMP News Update

Slave Lake, Alberta - On October 30, 2018 at 8:00 PM, the Slave Lake RCMP received a report of a break and enter to an oilfield site east of town.  Members responded to find a white GMC Sierra pickup truck in the ditch on fire.  There were no suspects present.

The pickup truck was determined to have been stolen earlier in the evening from a residence outside of Slave Lake.  Additionally, suspects stole a flameless heater and jugs of oil from the lease site.
