Potholes and Steaming of Catch Basins

Potholes and Steaming

With the warmer weather the Town of Slave Lake operations department has begun preparing for potential pot holes. Operations crews will be accessing roads, and preparing a  list of potholes that will be worked on when the cold thaw has passed.

Potholes that are accessed as a major issue will be repaired in a timely manner.

Steaming of catch basins began this week, and with the warmer weather we ask residents not to pile any excess snow from sidewalks and driveways onto roadways. Excess snow may cause issues and potential flooding in low lying areas.

For the safety of our crew, administration asks all residents to slow down, or stay clear of workers as they steam catch basins within the town.
