RCMP Seek Assistance in Identifying Theft Suspect

RCMP

Slave Lake, Alberta - On December 19, 2017 a mother was Christmas shopping with her children at the Wal-Mart in Slave Lake when she dropped her wallet.  Inside the wallet was a large sum of cash that was to be used for the holiday shopping.  In store video footage shows that soon after it was dropped, a female wearing a red coat, black pants, fur-topped boots and a striped toque picked up the wallet and placed it in her pocket.  The female made no effort to return the wallet or notify store staff.  The female quickly departed the store.

Slave Lake RCMP are seeking the public's assistance in identifying the suspect female.  Should anyone have information relating to this occurrence, please contact the Slave Lake RCMP at (780) 849-3999.  If you want to remain anonymous, you can contact Crime Stoppers by phone at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS), or by internet at www.tipsubmit.com.
