Town Council

The Town of Slave Lake’s Council is the legislative body that represents the citizens and businesses of Slave Lake. It establishes policies and priorities while providing leadership for Slave Lake’s municipal government. Town Council participates in an annual strategic planning exercise where projects and activities that support the vision for the town are discussed. As part of the process, Council prioritizes the initiatives and sets the budget. Throughout the year, Council reviews the budget and capital expenditures for civic operations.

The Community Donations Fund is a fund in Council's direct control which it may distribute to not-for-profit groups or individuals at its discretion.
